Welcome to BASSING-JERSEY

Welcome to my blog. This is not a site for anyone to obtain fishing marks from reading my site. It is for bass anglers who are keen on learning different methods.

It is also aimed at anglers who are not interested in slaughtering fish but return the majority of their fish to fight another day.

I intend to use it as a diary of my fishing trips and some of the marks mentioned in the blog will only mean something to a few readers.

All articles and photos remain the property of Alan Aubert and cannot be reproduced without my express consent

Perfect wife

Beverley insisted on going fishing this morning so I was only to happy to oblige . Fishing the cut through between Grd and GI I picked up a bass of around two pounds using a savage slug. This was followed by a 4lb wrasse.

A further drift resulted in a 4lb bass plus a further wrasse. We continued to move around as the tide ebbed and picked up another bass of around 2lb near comorant rock. Bev took a number of pollack and wrasse. I had a nice pollack as well

Back home now and Bev has passed me a beer before she cooks the bbq
