Welcome to my blog.This is not a site for anyone to obtain fishing marks from reading my site. It is for bass anglers who are keen on learning different methods.

It is also aimed at anglers who are not interested in slaughtering fish but return the majority of their fish to fight another day.

I intend to use it as a diary of my fishing trips and some of the marks mentioned in the blog will only mean something to a few readers.

Bass Tagging has started

In conjunction with Jersey Fisheries a few local anglers have been asked to tag bass in order that they can monitor the movements. The fishing has been poor over the last few weeks with the waters remaining very clear and the lack of bass has been very frustrating.

We last tagged about 10 years ago and some of the returned tags had turned up on fish caught in the bay of biscay.
