Welcome to BASSING-JERSEY

Welcome to my blog. This is not a site for anyone to obtain fishing marks from reading my site. It is for bass anglers who are keen on learning different methods.

It is also aimed at anglers who are not interested in slaughtering fish but return the majority of their fish to fight another day.

I intend to use it as a diary of my fishing trips and some of the marks mentioned in the blog will only mean something to a few readers.

Out with Steve

Out  with Steve Olsen today with a northerley 3-4 wind blowing restricted or fishing. The 37ft tide dropped quickly and we concentrated our fishing around Trevors Point. This resulted in a bass for Steve of 49cms and a good number of pollack . I hooked into a nice bass at low tide but failed to land the fish
