Welcome to BASSING-JERSEY

Welcome to my blog. This is not a site for anyone to obtain fishing marks from reading my site. It is for bass anglers who are keen on learning different methods.

It is also aimed at anglers who are not interested in slaughtering fish but return the majority of their fish to fight another day.

I intend to use it as a diary of my fishing trips and some of the marks mentioned in the blog will only mean something to a few readers.

Poor Weather Continues

what a summer we have been having, the rain continues to come down. Every few days the wind blows. We ventured yesterday to fish the 35ft tide. We started at our usual spot in about 15ft of water. Fish were difficult to find but by moving a couple of hundred yards we quickly landed 3 fish. This included a fish just below 5lbs caught by Derek on a black worm.

I had a fish on a sakura eel. The next drift resulted in nothing and it would appear that the fish were moving quickly on the fast ebbing tide.

The heavy rain did not dampen our spirits and we picked up another fish at finger rock, one at the point and the last were we started.
News is coming in that one of our tagged fish has been caught very close to where it had been tagged a few weeks ago
