Welcome to BASSING-JERSEY

Welcome to my blog. This is not a site for anyone to obtain fishing marks from reading my site. It is for bass anglers who are keen on learning different methods.

It is also aimed at anglers who are not interested in slaughtering fish but return the majority of their fish to fight another day.

I intend to use it as a diary of my fishing trips and some of the marks mentioned in the blog will only mean something to a few readers.

Another great sunny day

Despite the forecast of force 4-5 easterly winds the sun shone on us today with a good 38ft tide. Mick ward was following us today but we could not find the big fish we had yesterday. Derek started the day off with a fish of around 2.5lbs and this was the average weight for most of the day.

11 fish came to the boat today well I had 6 and Derek had 5 most coming from around and near gannet gulley just prior and after low.All the fish were caught on homemade lures. We shall see what tomorrow brings
