Welcome to BASSING-JERSEY

Welcome to my blog. This is not a site for anyone to obtain fishing marks from reading my site. It is for bass anglers who are keen on learning different methods.

It is also aimed at anglers who are not interested in slaughtering fish but return the majority of their fish to fight another day.

I intend to use it as a diary of my fishing trips and some of the marks mentioned in the blog will only mean something to a few readers.

Large Wrasse comes to the Boat

with a beautiful day flat calm seas it was a good afternoon to get out in Derek's Boat. Derek started off with 3pollack caught near seal rock followed by a wrasse of around 4lbs, all caught on a small black eel. Moving onto finger rock resulted in a massive wrasse of 6.5lbs.

Moving onto the point resulted in 4 bass all small around the 1.5lb mark
