Welcome to BASSING-JERSEY

Welcome to my blog. This is not a site for anyone to obtain fishing marks from reading my site. It is for bass anglers who are keen on learning different methods.

It is also aimed at anglers who are not interested in slaughtering fish but return the majority of their fish to fight another day.

I intend to use it as a diary of my fishing trips and some of the marks mentioned in the blog will only mean something to a few readers.

fantastic Weekend

I have been out with Derek during the last few days 37ft tides wind westerley 3-4 Yesterday proved great when we took 25 fish a number being caught at the point with the birds cirulating there The fish turning up around the low tide mark. Biggest fish yesterday was around the 4lb mark

Most were caught on homemade lures, Well today saw rain this morning but the wind was not too bad this time we had 39 fish the biggest being caught by me at 6.5 lbs whilst Derek had one around 6lbs We had 9 on a reef near the lagoon just as they were uncovering before moving onto the point where we took a further 28 fish The big ones were caught at low tide or just after whilst the others were caught off the point
