out with Derek on a lovely sunny day on south east coast of Jersey however very small tide of about 25 ft not a sign of a bass however quiet a few snipe around leading to Derek hooking a snipe using a Berkley Gulp. The fish being returned without harm.
Marine petrol has now reached 77p a litre here in Jerset

I used the Berkley Gulp whilst in New Zealand - they look like plastic but are made of vegetable matter which releases a smell. I was catching Snapper on them even when there was almost nothing left on the jig head. Hopefully they will work well with the bass.
