Welcome to BASSING-JERSEY

Welcome to my blog. This is not a site for anyone to obtain fishing marks from reading my site. It is for bass anglers who are keen on learning different methods.

It is also aimed at anglers who are not interested in slaughtering fish but return the majority of their fish to fight another day.

I intend to use it as a diary of my fishing trips and some of the marks mentioned in the blog will only mean something to a few readers.

Derek had two fish a fish around 3lbs at BO and another at 4lbs inside the PT. This fish was stuffed full of crab

Wrasse time

With very few bass showing up I have been targetting big wrass over the last few weeks with a number of 5lb plus fish coming to the boat. All of these fish have been taken on savagegear sandeel slugs. The fish have come from marks in the East of the island and also the West.

It will not be long before the bass will arrive
