Welcome to my blog.This is not a site for anyone to obtain fishing marks from reading my site. It is for bass anglers who are keen on learning different methods.

It is also aimed at anglers who are not interested in slaughtering fish but return the majority of their fish to fight another day.

I intend to use it as a diary of my fishing trips and some of the marks mentioned in the blog will only mean something to a few readers.

First of the year

Out today with Derek on a small 26ft tide, very very slow  with numerous spots tried. The water was crystal clear. Eventually the one and only bite resulted in this plucky little fish. The fish took a savage fear sandeel slug on a 7g jig head

Personal Location Beacon








Here is my latest safety equipment which I have just purchased from Amazon. It is a personal location Beacon that sends a signal up to satellites and then to a rescue centre.I hope that I will never have to use it but it will be very handy both on the boat and when I fish from the shore. It only takes one accident and you could be wishinging that you had one around your neck.
